The English Department of the Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) is inviting you to a 2-day Virtual Discussion on Doing Research in English Language Studies (ELS) amidst Global Challenges on December 18-19, 2020.

We have invited both young and seasoned researchers and academics who will talk about Language Acquisition/Literacy, Language Assessment, Literary and Cultural Studies, and Discourse Analysis. Among the resource speakers is Dr. Stephen D Krashen, who has extensively contributed to the fields of second-language acquisition, bilingual education, and reading. He is known for introducing various hypotheses related to second-language acquisition, including the acquisition-learning hypothesis, the input hypothesis, the monitor hypothesis, the affective filter, and the natural order hypothesis.
